· Over 35 years experience in clinical, metabolic and epidemiological research.
· Investigator Emeritus, Institute of Nutrition of Central America and Panama (INCAP).
· Formerly Professor of Basic and Clinical Nutrition, INCAP/University of San Carlos. Adjunct Professor of International Health, The Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University, USA. Lecturer in universities and health-related institutions in more than 20 countries.
· Chairperson or Member of Advisory and Expert Groups for WHO, PAHO, FAO, UNICEF, FAO, US Pharmacopeia, other national and international organizations.
· Editorial board member and reviewer for several scientific journals.
· Author / co-author more than 120 papers and book chapters, and 12 books and monographs.
· Medal of Science and Technology (highest scientific award conferred by Guatemala’s Vice-President and Congress) and other national and international awards.

Jacobo Sabbaj, MD, FACP, FIDSA – Chief Medical Officer

· Emeritus Professor and Founder, Infectious Diseases Unit, Roosevelt (teaching) Hospital, University of San Carlos, Guatemala.
· Lecturer in universities and health-related institutions in several countries.
· Author / co-author more than 80 papers and over 100 presentations in international and national specialist meetings.

Leon Arango, MD, FACP – Chief Operations Officer
