Teaching

CIDAL continuously increases its network of experienced investigators and investigational sites through structured courses and tutorial training of selected novel Investigators, Clinical Research Assistants, Study Coordinators and other research personnel.

CIDAL staff members maintain close links with academic and medical organizations through teaching and collaboration in metabolic, epidemiological and clinical investigations.

These activities have resulted in an extensive network of sites and clinical investigators that ensures timely delivery of results with a high standard of excellence.

  • Courses on Good Clinical Practices (GCP)
    • Guatemala: CIDAL with >75% of teaching load in courses offered by the Guatemalan Society of Internal Medicine, Medical College and Ministry of Health
      - 17 courses, >550 certified participants
    • Honduras:
      - 3 courses, 70 certified participants
    • Costa Rica:
      - 1 course, 35 certified participants
